Surrey Community Action is a charity that supports voluntary and community action through funding, advice, training and advocacy. These are two new posts, funded by the Cabinet Office through Big Fund, to deliver the Transforming Local Infrastructure (TLI) project across Surrey. Transforming Local Infrastructure is about re-organising the support provided to front line charity and community groups in order to meet the changing funding environment.

TLI Project Manager

35 hours/week full time

18 month project

 £35,000 plus 5% pension

Based in Guildford


We are seeking a candidate with excellent project management skills to work with a partnership of infrastructure organisations in Surrey. This role requires a high level of tact and diplomacy along with the resilience to get the project completed on time and in budget. We are seeking a person with a clear understanding of the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector, who can be innovative in balancing the different aspects of the project whilst maintaining delivery of the required project Outcomes.  


TLI Administrator

16 hours/week flexible

18 month project

 £20,000 (pro rata) plus 5% pension

Based in Guildford


We are seeking a candidate with excellent coordination and administration skills to support the Transforming Local Infrastructure project. This role requires an organised individual with experience of arranging meetings, collating data and preparing reports and presentations. We are seeking someone that is a good communicator and can work effectively with a range of other organisations to facilitate the smooth operation of the project.
