What we do...

Welcome to the website of Voluntary Services Surrey Heath, the link for voluntary groups in the Surrey Heath area.

Voluntary Services Surrey Heath is a registered charity, funded by Surrey Heath Borough Council, Surrey County Council and Surrey Heath and Woking Primary Care Trust. 

VSSH, together with several other charities, is located in Community Link in the Surrey Heath Borough Council Offices. 

The object of the charity is to promote voluntary groups and organisations in the Surrey Heath area, representing the voluntary services at local and county level.  We also aim to promote and facilitate partnerships within the borough to achieve common aims and objectives. 

We’re here to provide voluntary groups in the Surrey Heath area with: information to assist them in the management of their own organisation; updates on policy that may affect the voluntary sector; events and advice to pass on to their clients; and an opportunity for groups to promote their organisation. 

Our Volunteer Bureau meets the needs of local voluntary organisations by advertising their specific volunteer requirements and conducting initial interviews with interested parties.  We aim to place volunteers in posts that make full use of their skills that they will therefore find rewarding. 

As well as providing support in finding volunteers we can offer free help and advice on a number of issues, including:
