The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association was founded in1931 and is a charity that receives no govenment funding for the guide dog service.  This service is entirely dependent on voluntary donations.  They are a world leader in breeding and training guide dogs and is a founder of the Guide Dog Federation.  They are looking for a volunteer to become the Camberley Branch organiser and Fundraiser.

The Branch Organiser will act as the key branch contact for Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in the Camberley area, working with other volunteers to arrange fundraising activities.  This could be anything from a local collection to arrangeing a stand at a local event or organising a fundraising event.  The branch organisers also make sure that the branch works within Guide Dogs policies and procedures.  It is a great opportunity to meet new people and make a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.  In addition to this opportunity we are also seeking fundraising volunteers who may be able to help with organising and attending local events etc., flexibility would be great.
